There are many ways to get to the Selous Game Ranch. One of the best ways is heading on a road trip from Dar Es Salaam that will be the normal way that you would head to the Mikumi National Park and that is by going into the Matambwe gate. It is an amazing experience as you are going to have the chance to view the town of Morogoro against the backdrop of the Ulugulu mountains.  It is an incredibly beautiful experience in the morning. A Trip by Train to the Selous

There is no end to the adventure that you can experience on your way to the Selous. One of the best ways to head in is on the rail of the TAZARA which is the Tanzania Zambia Railway. This is a rail that starts in Dar es Salaam and that will have many routes and there is a stop in Matambwe. When you are on this journey, you will enjoy the beauty of the bush. In addition to that, there is a four to five-hour tour, that allows you to see incredible views of the country and the landscape. It is one of the best ways to head into the Selous.

How to Get There by Air

This is one of the best ways to get to the Selous as well. There are many different flights that head from Dar es Salaam, Arusha, and Zanzibar. The Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) is used as an entry point for the country. This is a great addition to a holiday that is happening on the beach and ensures that it is a quick and easy way to get you to the Selous. Although it is the most expensive, it is also the easiest and by a long way the quickest way to get you to Selous. It is the largest Game reserve in Africa  and is part of the Southern Safari Circuit of Tanzania.
